Stressed, anxious and overwhelmed? Rushing through life but not sure where you’re headed? I know what it’s like to be so busy, and then to wonder at the end of the day, month or year, “What was I busy doing?

Purpose or calling does not have to be anything grand or chart topping. Being a kind and loving person is ideal — and it’s also grand and chart topping.

Whatever you dream of doing, spend a few minutes in thought on it everyday. Get peaceful and centered around it. See yourself doing it.

Then take action. Do one thing that moves you closer to having what you want. Little steps create progress and allow you to better understand yourself… because we grow through our efforts. We grow from doing.

I used to waste time on activities that didn’t serve me. Television was my way of unwinding.

Television made it easy for me to “check out” and to avoid introspection. Television stifled my creativity. It may have helped me unwind… just not for eight hours a day.

If you’re overwhelmed, rushing to complete one task after another, and feel like life is a constant struggle, consider gaining peace and focus by simply sitting still for a few minutes. Create a bit of peace and quiet.

Go for a walk, run, or dance. Be patient with yourself…
