Life Coach

Copy of Laurie 1In 1995, after graduating with my MBA, my 60-hour workweeks and never-enough-sleep lifestyle made me sick. I traded in my St. John Knits and six-figure salary to inspire others who were just as miserable as I was. As a life coach, I help put life in order for the stressed out, the insecure, the fearful, the disorganized, the worried and the generally unhappy.

My first book, Rich by Choice, Poor by Habit, is one of the tools I use to guide people to take intelligent risks and to clean out life’s clutter, wherever it might exist. Here is an excerpt from the introduction:

There is no passion and no meaning living in “survival mode.” Living in survival mode means you unenthusiastically crawl out of bed, grudgingly prepare for the day, reluctantly rush off to work or school, drag yourself home, halfheartedly prepare dinner, watch television, pass out, and then repeat the whole process the following day. It’s no surprise there is no passion and no meaning. You’re sleepwalking through life!

We all need practical guidance every once in a while. I don’t provide answers; I help individuals define what they want from their lives and and to align behaviors with the bigger vision of what they want their life to be.

While I no longer consult one-on-one with clients, I continue my life coaching on my radio show, Tap In with Laurie Johnson. http://www.blogtalkradio.com/lauriejohnson. On the show I ask probing, open-ended questions that get listeners and guests to think about their goals and to make RICH CHOICES.
