Lost My Wallet

Someone once told me that if you lose a piece of jewelry, it’s meant for someone else…

Thank goodness the same doesn’t apply to wallets.

I lost mine last week. It fell out my pocket while leaving the supermarket. I immediately retraced my steps, but it was gone, nowhere to be found.

I didn’t cancel my credit card or spend hours getting my license replaced…

I turned my phone ringer on and I waited…

and waited…

and waited…

I carried on with life as usual…

  • letting go
  • surrendering
  • not letting stress interfere with my life

After 48 hours I began to wonder, “What’s taking THEM so long?”

THEY’VE got my number.”

Late Thursday night, a postal worker finally called. We met Friday morning while I was on my way to LAX to catch my flight.

Everything was there except the $40 bucks cash.

My crazy faith saved me unnecessary drama.
