It’s a good thing that I no longer make decisions about my life the same way I go about rhinestone a new pair of tap shoes.
When it comes to bedazzling shoes I don’t have an outline, a strategy or a vision.
I simply start gluing (one stone at a time) and am willing to accept whatever happens. It’s all good.
This strategy works well for enhancing shoes but this same haphazard approach would lead to chaos, stress and anxiety if applied to life.
I remember feeling lost and confused without a life strategy. I made day-to-day decisions without realizing that those little, seemingly inconsequential choices, were shaping my life.
That’s why it’s important to write down your goals and reference them often. It’s okay to be sporadic and without direction when it comes to decorating shoes because the consequence potential is limited.
But, it’s no way to live your life.
The orange shoes pictured here are my latest creation. I briefly considered adding more colored stones but thought it would only compete with the vibrant orange.
Do you agree? How do you like them? Any suggestions?
As always, I appreciate your comments.
